I know what the problem is –
you get used to marvelous things,
take them for granted.
You try not to, but you do.
It all becomes normal,
nothing special.
But there’s too much wonder;
it’s everywhere.
And you have to never stop noticing.

A couple of weeks ago, I was reminded of that as I took my 7 year old niece down a country road to pick wildflowers. It was one of the best afternoons I’ve had in a while, watching her ooh and ahh over flowers that we rarely pay attention to:-)

I couldn’t agree more. We must never stop noticing the wonder all around us.
